
At Beach Fitness and Performance, we believe that understanding your baseline performance level is the first step towards achieving your athletic performance goals. Our comprehensive assessment provides invaluable insights into your strengths and areas for improvement, allowing us to create a customized strength and conditioning program that maximizes your potential.

We start off our assessments with movement screening to assess an athlete's stability, mobility, and flexibility through a broad spectrum of movements. This data allows us to identify and educate our athletes on areas of potential injury risk.
We utilize a series of upper and lower body power tests to assess an athlete's rate of force production including jumping and MB Throws.
Utilizing our Dashr Timing Gates, we assess our athletes acceleration, change of direction, and top speed metrics. This provides baseline speed and agility data and visual feedback on where the athlete needs to improve their running technique.
We assess an athletes relative and absolute body strength with hand selected strength exercises that meet the needs of that athlete, their sport demands, their age, injury history, and training experience.
After the assessment, we sit down with the athlete and their family to review the results, break down what the data means, and clearly outline where they currently stand. From there, we help set realistic goals and provide tailored training recommendations based on their needs, schedule, and long-term development.

The TrackMan Assessment provides in-depth data on hitting or pitching performance using pro-level technology. Athletes receive a personalized report with key metrics like exit velocity, spin rate, launch angle, and movement profiles — giving them a clear picture of where they stand and how to improve.

A team member will reach out to schedule your assessment. Athletes can choose between the pitching, hitting, or both assessments.
Pitching: Athletes will complete a full bullpen session, throwing all pitches in their arsenal.
Hitting: Athletes will take swings against overhand batting practice to capture game-relevant data.
After completion of the Trackman assessment, a report will be generated for you to review. One of our BFP coaches will review the data with you and explain what it means, what you should work on, and goals to obtain.
Our coaches will review your performance with you, and recommend a program to improve your performance. We recommend retesting every 2-4 months.
Most collegiate programs review and trust Trackman pitching and hitting reports. After completion of the Trackman assessment, you will have instant access to your individual report to not only review for improving performance, but also for college recruiting.
